ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Creativity is the greatest gift of God to the mankind and through the process of
shaping this Souvenir we have been given ample opportunities to give vent
to our creative urge. We bow deep to acknowledge God’s grace upon us. We are
deeply indebted to Fr. Nicholas Tete, Principal, St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi whose
constant support and encouragement remained paramount in our pursuit of
this goal. We express our heartfelt thanks to Archbishop of Ranchi, Telesphore P.
Cardinal Toppo, Honourable Governor (Jharkhand) Smt. Draupadi Murmu, Vice
Chancellor (Ranchi University), Dr. Ramesh Pandey, B.P.Em., Fr.Charles Soreng,
Provincial(Ranchi),Fr. Dr. Joseph Marianus Kujur , Principal, Dr. Nicholas Tete
and Head of the Department (Education), Fr. Ananda Kerketta who have blessed
our magazine with their inspirational messages.
We express our gratitude towards our HOD Fr. Ananda Kerketta who always
stood with us as a friend and guide in this endeavour. We acknowledge all the
support and encouragement provided by our teachers and thank them from
the core of our heart. We are grateful to the Principal, St. John’s School, Ranchi,
Fr. Florence Kujur and the Principal, Ursuline Convent, Ranchi, Sr. Mary Kanta
Dungdung who allowed us to share the information about their schools in our
magazine.
We thank Dr. Kamal Bose, Head of the Department (Hindi) for his unconditional
support and encouragement. We are also thankful to Dr. Santosh Kiro, Head
of the Department (Mass-communication) and Mr. Alok Ranjan from the
same Department for their expert guidance in making of the documentary
on teacher’s training activities. We specially thank Mr. Sanjay, Lab Assistant
(Mass-Communication) for his valuable assistance. Mr. Chayan Bhaduri, Head
(Animation) has extended help with his suggestions for online publication
of the magazine. Mr. Nitin kumar has provided technical assistance in the
online publication. We thank them for their kind gesture. We acknowledge
the contributions of Mr. Navin (photographer) and our Librarian, Mr. Amit
Dundung. We are also very much thankful to Ms. Sheela Kerketta (office staff of
the Department) and Mrs. Roseline Nawrangi (office assistant), who patiently
helped us in the publication of this souvenir. At the end, with a deep sense of
gratitude we acknowledge the contributions of all our authors who with their
ideas, views and expressions have helped us to give this tenth issue its present
form and shape.
