Message

As we are completing a decade of teaching –learning activity
in the Department of Education, there pervades a lingering
thought in my mind - that of a feeling of wholeness, well-being,
and satisfaction coupled with consolation - and having successfully
completed our responsibility. An enormous task before us was to
create ‘Knowledge Economy’. Institutions which are committed
to acquiring, creating, disseminating and utilizing the knowledge
for economic and social development are recognized in the
human society. The society recognizes our institution as a centre of
knowledge capital which ultimately is translated into human capital.
As a result our College instils confidence among the stakeholders.
Our Department of Education has trained about one thousand
proficient teachers for the State, for which we feel ecstatic. We have
definitely inculcated in them to be valued-based, mission-driven,
self-motivated, result-oriented and teachers who build bridges.
At this point of history, I would like to thank the Lord and all our
faculty members and students down the line. I wish the very best to
all the readers of the Magazine.
May God Bless you all.

Fr. Dr. Nicholas Tete, SJ
