Report on Celebration of 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma
Gandhi at St. Xaver’s College, Ranchi Department of Education
Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated with great enthusiasm in the college.
Various activities were undertaken to commemorate birth
anniversary of ‘Father of Nation’ from 26th September to 2nd October
2018. Nukkad Natak on cleanliness, Exhibition, Essay writing
competition, Debate, Slogan writing and Quiz were held during this
period. B.Ed students actively participated in all the events. Special
assembly session dedicating to the thoughts of Gandhiji was
organized in the department. Discussion in the classroom on
educational philosophy of Gandhiji was also conducted.
